Often associated with the famous purple fields of Provence, Lavandula angustifolia, also called English Lavender, is not native to England but to the Mediterranean. Lavender angustifolia is planted in South Mediterranean Mountains. It grows naturally without any fertilizers or chemical additives. The flowers and leaves are used as a herbal medicine, either in the form of Lavender oil or as a herbal tea. Lavender essential oil, when diluted with a carrier oil, is commonly used as a relaxant with massage therapy. Both the leaves and flowers are used to make our Lavender Angustifolia Oil.
